DO NOT RENT THIS MOTORHOME!!
We’ve been cheated out of £500 by Gordon. So much for an honest man.
He withheld an additional £500 deposit that was made outside Goboony website. His insurance was requesting this extra £ the same day of us picking up the motorhome so it didn’t go documented. Unfortunately we had some damage to the awning due to high winds during our rental. We were honest about the damage and made everything clear with Gordon. he made his claim for damage through Goboony yet before finalized I requested the “non documented deposit” be paid first before accepting the claim. Fearing that this very thing would happen. Gordon assured me he would the deposit back once the claim was finalized. Not to my surprise he refused to pay us back £500. Now we find ourselves proceeding to small claims Court to retrieve our money. Besides all that the motorhome is not like in the photos. There’s no coffee machine, or basic kitchen utensils. We received the motorhome dirty and the cushions are dusty. I had allergy attacks the entire trip. The blinds are all broken and don’t stay closed making it uneasy to sleep .Make sure to file your Goforms in PEN unlike he did with us and altered it after we had already had signed it. Dishonest man!!! Hope you can still rent your motorhome

Thank you for the review, and I’m sorry you feel this way but at the end of the day you caused damages to the cost of over £2000 and Goboony only returned £1500 to me so I’m still out of pocket. I went out my way to make sure you were properly insured and even gave you additional time with the motorhome to return it which had me hanging around when you kept moving the time back by an hour at a time. You weren’t honest about damaging the awning, left the fridge with mouldy food in it the fuel tank was returned empty, the toilet cassette had over filled and I had to clean up your urine. Hopefully the small claims court that you go though will see the truth and I’ll get the remainder of my money.
